The company develops an AI-powered technology stack for driverless commercial trucking and autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.

We are looking for a highly skilled Security Operations Engineer to build and maintain detection, response, and security automation capabilities. If you are passionate about securing autonomous systems and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you will:

1. Integrate and operate SIEM tools to detect and respond to security incidents
2. Investigate alerts, anomalies, and breaches for rapid response
3. Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities
4. Develop and maintain incident response playbooks
5. Build automation scripts for log analysis and threat ingestion
6. Conduct security tabletop exercises
7. Analyze emerging cyber threats in the autonomous vehicle industry

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Threat Detection
2. Expertise with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, forensic tools
3. Experience with Linux security, cloud security (AWS/GCP), containers
4. Proficiency in automation, preferably Python
5. Understanding of attack TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK
6. Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST 800-53, SOC 2, ISO 21434
7. Strong collaboration and communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

1. Experience with autonomous vehicle systems, IoT, embedded platforms
2. Certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC, AWS certifications
