Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Security Officer 3 to protect facilities and personnel supporting spaceflight initiatives in Austin, TX. You will patrol sites, respond to incidents, and coordinate safety operations across shifts.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in military, law enforcement, or corporate security, plus eligibility for background checks, FAA Part 107 drone license, and up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of experience in the military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security realm.
• 1+ year of executive protection, mobile asset protection, or emergency response team experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency/awareness of static guard post duties.
• Plan and conduct advanced security training for all security officers.
• Conduct advanced research and analysis in support of the company security missions.
• Conduct and review risk assessments of critical the company facilities.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide on-scene leadership to others.
• Plan and coordinate domestic flight hardware transportation operations.
• Learn advanced skillsets including EMT, investigations, surveillance, VIP escort, security hardware.
• Function as liaison with law enforcement, community leaders and key stakeholders in space industry.
