Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Security Officer 3 to protect our high‑tech facilities, operate in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. You will patrol sites, enforce security procedures, and maintain professional standards at all times.

Core duties include planning security support for operations, conducting risk assessments, training officers, and responding to emergencies. This role requires ITAR awareness and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of experience in the military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security realm.
• 1+ year of executive protection, mobile asset protection, or emergency response team experience.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency/awareness of static guard post duties.
• Plan and execute security support for the company operations.
• Plan and conduct advanced security training for all security officers.
• Conduct advanced research and analysis in support of the company security missions.
• Mentor other security members to identify and report suspicious behavior to the operations center.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Execute security support as dictated by the company security leadership.
• Execute roving patrols of assigned locations.
• Conduct and review risk assessments of critical the company facilities.
• Provide mobile security support as directed by the operations center.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide on-scene leadership to others.
• Develop and refine emergency response protocols based on data and experience.
• Plan and coordinate domestic flight hardware transportation operations.
• Learn advanced skillsets (EMT/investigations/surveillance/VIP escort/security hardware).
• Function as liaison with law enforcement, community leaders and key stakeholders in space industry.
