Job summary

SAS is seeking a Sr. Associate Security Officer in Cary, North Carolina. The role focuses on safeguarding personnel, assets, and facilities through patrols, access control, and rapid incident response.

You will gain hands-on experience with advanced security systems and play a key part in emergency readiness. You will work a Thurday–Monday night shift, ensuring safety across company properties and supporting evacuation procedures when needed.

Qualifications

• College-level coursework in Criminal Justice or security-related field preferred.
• Two years’ experience as a security officer/guard, with at least one year in a corporate setting.
• Must be able to work with sensitive information and communicate effectively with emergency responders.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine patrols of grounds and facilities by foot, bicycle or vehicle.
• Respond to calls for service and emergencies and coordinate with responders.
• Operate security devices and coordinate event support (traffic, escorts, standby).
• Document incident facts and actions; perform other duties as assigned.
