Qualifications

• Tactical handgun or rifle course completion preferred.
• Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) preferred.
• Must obtain Level III Commissioned Security Officer license.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work at fixed post or patrol assigned area on foot or vehicle.
• Monitor security cameras and access controls; manage visitors.
• Vet and check in campus visitors; respond to gate bypasses and overrides.
• Conduct standbys for emergencies and personnel actions as required.
• Patrol grounds and parking areas; oversee Security Operations Center when needed.
• Notify and coordinate with external first responders and internal teams.
• Document daily activities; prepare reports on incidents and injuries.
