Job summary

the company is seeking a Security Operations professional to monitor and respond to security events and lead incident response as Incident Commander. You will also drive digital forensic investigations in support of Employee Relations, Legal, Compliance, or Information Security cases.

Beyond incident response, you will build runbooks, automate workflows, and refine security processes while collaborating with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Incident Response.
• Ability to communicate investigative findings to staff, leadership, and legal.
• Ability to build scripts or tools to support investigations, with Python.
• Mentor and train security operation engineers on data collection and reporting.
• Lead during security incident response with cross-team coordination.
• Understanding of forensics on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience using SIEM tools to review logs.
• Experience in cloud architecture and security (AWS, GCP).
• Role aligned with Pacific Time Zone; reside in PT/MT/CT in US or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts.
• Lead information security incidents and investigations, with incident closure.
• Deliver security guidance for incident response and insider threat.
• Coordinate building services, integrations, and implementations to support security ops.
• Model and embed cultural principles while scaling globally.
