Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Security Engineer, Incident Response to drive technical responses to security events across our global cloud infrastructure. You will partner with R&D teams to create scalable, automated processes and play a key role in building a resilient security program.

The role emphasizes triage, containment, remediation, post-incident improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience: 3+ years of security incident response in production-cloud environments.
• Expertise in security issues and technologies, with strong AI-assisted response capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM and SOAR platforms, and cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the response to security events across global infrastructure.
• Document incidents and craft runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate across teams to address threats from a broad range of actors.
• Improve security and reliability posture by driving identified betterments.
• Rapidly acquire new technical skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Own the security incident lifecycle, participate in on-call rotations and RCAs.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal customers to enable impact.
• Provide mentorship to the team to support career development.
