Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Security & Fire Alarm Technician to support New Construction and Large-scale Retrofit projects throughout Greater Orlando and Central Florida. The role focuses on installation, programming, testing and commissioning of Fire Alarm and Electronic Security Systems, including CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detection.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Fire Alarm and/or Electronic Security experience.
• Hands-on with CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detection.
• Experience with Fire Alarm and Security System Programming.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and Florida Fire Prevention Code.
• Ability to read Construction Drawings and Riser Diagrams.
• Understanding of IP Networking as it relates to Security Systems.
• Florida FASA/BASA License or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Configure CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detection.
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, riser diagrams and submittals.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Support AHJ inspections and final system turnover.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Contractors, and customers.
• Provide technical guidance to junior Technicians and Apprentices.

• Experience with Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Bosch, Axis, or DMP
• Florida Burglar Alarm System Agent License
• Experience leading New Construction and Large-Scale Retrofit Projects
