Job summary

ShareFile, a leading SaaS company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Security to own security, compliance, and privacy for cloud services. You will oversee SOC operations, drive automatic security controls in AWS using infrastructure as code, and steer audits across PCI, ISO, SOC-2, HIPAA, and privacy regulations.

Reporting to Engineering and Operations leadership, you will lead a high-performing security team, automate incident response, and partner with cross-functional teams to embed security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a SaaS company or similar environment.
• Proven experience managing Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and Cloud Security Engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, particularly in an AWS environment, with experience in infrastructure and policy as code methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of compliance frameworks, including PCI, ISO, SOC-2, HIPAA, and Global Data Privacy regulations.
• Strong expertise in risk management, incident response, and security architecture, with a focus on automation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing security teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations Management: Lead the SOC team, establish incident response procedures, coordinate across teams, ensure timely incident resolution.
• Cloud Security Engineering: Design and maintain security controls in AWS using infrastructure as code; integrate security into the dev lifecycle.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Drive security policies and controls as code; manage audits under PCI, ISO, SOC-2, HIPAA, Global Data Privacy.
• Privacy and Data Protection: Automate data classification, access controls, and encryption to protect customer data.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate security and compliance risks with automated strategies.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop security staff; foster learning and growth.
• Vendor and Third-Party Security: Assess third-party security using automated assessments.
• Security Awareness and Training: Deliver automated security training programs.
