Job summary

ADVANCED NETWORK MANAGEMENT INC is seeking a Senior Security Consulting Engineer in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area to design and implement enterprise security solutions. You will collaborate with clients to capture requirements, reduce security risk, and deliver secure configurations and comprehensive documentation.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Palo Alto and Cisco security products, strong communication skills, and a drive to stay current with evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in information security or a related field.
• 5+ years in security architecture, operations, design, or development.
• Strong Cisco security product knowledge and hands-on configuration.
• Palo Alto experience in PAN Security products.
• Certifications such as CCNP-Security, Security+, and/or CEH.
• Experience with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and security logging.
• Ability to translate business requirements into secure solutions and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions across multiple domains and technologies.
• Collaborate with customers to capture business requirements and reduce security risk.
• Create and maintain security configurations, diagrams, and as-built docs.
• Configure Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma SASE, Prisma Cloud, Cisco FTD and ISE environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network and information security issues.
• Stay current on threats and advise on enterprise security solutions.
• Leverage lab environments to reproduce problems and verify fixes.
