Job summary

Secur-Serv is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network access solutions for a Palo Alto enterprise environment. You will collaborate with network, cloud, and IT operations teams to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required are a technical degree and 4+ years in professional services or related roles, with certifications like PCNSE/CCNA/CCNP/CCIE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 4+ years in professional services or relevant IT/security roles.
• Certificates such as PCNSE/CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Migrate customers from legacy firewall tech to Palo Alto Networks.
• Build security policies and signatures per client needs.
• Maintain proficiency in Palo Alto SASE products and services.
• Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed for maintenance.
• Analyze logs/events for troubleshooting and incident response.
• Collaborate with TAC to diagnose support cases.
• Mentor on upgrades and best practices; meet project deliverables.
