Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a senior security engineer to lead vulnerability and configuration management for our information security toolset. The role requires independent work, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement of security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 year degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years IT experience and 3+ years IT Security experience.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning platforms and endpoint security tools.
• Expert understanding of Linux and Windows administration.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operations.
• Strong networking, firewall design, and SSL/TLS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade and patch application software and operating systems.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and manage certificates.
• Ensure security tools are integrated with infrastructure and compliant.
• Monitor health of tools and automate repeatable processes.
• Support incident resolution and risk assessments.
• Mentor security engineers and contribute to policy development.
