Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support the vulnerability management lifecycle across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. You will operate scanning capabilities, analyze findings, and translate risk into actionable remediation steps for technical stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity with Tenable experience and strong communication, coordinating remediation with application and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity or related security field with focus on vulnerability management.
• Ability to translate risk into actionable remediation steps for technical stakeholders.
• Strong experience with Tenable products (prefer Security Center).
• Experience analyzing vulnerabilities and producing remediation guidance.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle from identification to remediation guidance and tracking.
• Operate and maintain vulnerability scanning capabilities including Tenable Security Center.
• Analyze findings, determine risk, and communicate impact and remediation priorities to tech teams.
• Develop detailed remediation guidance and recommend compensating controls when full remediation isn’t feasible.
