Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join a team responsible for the design, engineering and operation of core infrastructure security services. The role focuses on Active Directory, KMS, ADFS, RDL, DFS, Entra Connect, and related technologies, with a strong emphasis on secure by design and governance.

The position requires at least 5 years in security engineering, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on experience in threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Advanced knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle security practices.
• Advanced knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements cybersecurity solutions that protect critical assets and contribute to technical design.
• Performs threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing for platforms and services in scope.
• Integrates and configures information security technologies in production environments.
• Serves as a technical escalation point and develops reusable fixes to improve workflows.
• Collaborates with product and engineering to apply security architecture guidance and governance.
