Apple is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for Strategic Risk in Seattle. You will partner with the ASE Security team to secure Apple’s services globally, building controls and guardrails around data and customer accounts.

You will lead threat modeling, reviews, and cross‑functional security improvements across platforms and services. You will drive scalable security methodologies, manage incidents, and advance cryptography and access controls while collaborating with data engineers and

Competenze

• 7+ years in security reviews, incident response, threat modeling or security engineering.
• Design and implement new security processes.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture and managed platform services.
• Expertise in threat modeling, threat intelligence and attack vectors/frameworks.
• Knowledge of cryptography, access control and modern authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with enterprise log collection and analysis tools like Splunk or OSQuery.

• Identify improvements related to user account security and set security goals.
• Lead discovery conversations on architecture, security posture and blockers.
• Measure and communicate risks to leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement AI technologies to manage risk.
