Job summary

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to partner with engineering teams on new products and features. You will lead threat modeling, conduct security reviews, and provide design guidance to keep ASE services secure for millions of users.

You will collaborate with developers, site reliability engineers, and security teams to automate security recommendations and drive platform-wide improvements, while prioritizing high-value security engagements across engineering

Qualifications

• 10+ years conducting security reviews and threat modeling.
• Knowledge of distributed systems design at cloud scale.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and managed services.
• Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS/PaaS offerings.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/Go/Swift.
• Experience with security in third-party cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead security reviews for large engineering efforts throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop threat models and drive security guidance across teams.
• Automate security recommendations, vulnerability discovery, and workflows.
• Partner with security, privacy, and offensive security to raise security standards.
