Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and play a pivotal role in shaping how security is built into our software — not bolted on after the fact.

This high-impact, engineering role focuses on embedding security into every stage of the software development lifecycle, from first line of code to production deployment, in one of the nation’s leading health and insurance organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or closely related field.
• 7+ years in information security and risk management.
• Experience with CI/CD security and software supply chain.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to clearly define requirements, deliverables and timeframes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve complex problems in ISRM Infrastructure.
• Develop and deliver technical training in complex technical areas.
• Implement, monitor, configure, and maintain security systems.
• Ensure compliance to required standards, procedures, guidelines and processes.
