Job summary

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud and on-prem environments. You will drive incident response, threat hunting, and deploy security tooling including DLP, WAF, and a cloud-based SIEM, with a focus on AWS.

As a member of the Information Security team, you will develop automation scripts, create architecture diagrams, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years experience as a security engineer or similar.
• Proficient in incident response, threat hunting and cloud security (AWS).
• Experience with identity management protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (OSCP, SSCP, GSEC) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate security tools (DLP, IAM, WAF, EPP).
• Evaluate and implement a Security, Orchestration, Automation and Response software.
• Develop scripts to automate threat hunting and forensics.
• Design and refine detection mechanisms to improve operations.
• Maintain a cloud-based SIEM with ingested logs and tuned alerts.
• Lead incident response when required.
• Stay current on threats and trends to address emerging risks.
• Conduct internal phishing awareness training.
• Collaborate to follow secure implementation guidelines.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support.
