Job summary

VulnCheck is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to embed security into how we build and ship. You will partner with engineers on design reviews, harden the platform, and develop tooling to automate security at scale.

You'll lead IAM modeling, incident response, and SOC 2 readiness, working with Terraform/Terragrunt and Kubernetes security best practices. Remote-friendly environment with a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering with strong AWS security and IaC experience.
• Strong Kubernetes/EKS security knowledge including RBAC, network policies, and hardening.
• Proven ability to build tools or automation that scale security.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering on design reviews, threat modeling, and secure-by-default patterns.
• Review and harden IaC across AWS environments.
• Lead least-privilege IAM design and adoption.
• Build scalable automation for detection, response, and compliance.
