Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer for a 12-month contract-to-hire, hybrid role in Atlanta, GA. The position centers on securing information assets through design, testing, and deployment of security systems and controls.

The role requires 3–7+ years in PKI/security engineering, experience with certificate lifecycle management, TLS/cryptography, and cloud certificate services. Strong incident response and forensics skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years in PKI, cybersecurity engineering or infrastructure security.
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management and PKI tools.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL, cryptography and key management.
• Experience with cloud certificate services (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with NIST, PCI-DSS, CMMC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement and support security systems to safeguard information assets.
• Configure firewalls and IDS/IPS; perform vulnerability testing and risk analyses.
• Develop automation scripts for incident handling and security operations.
• Conduct incident response, forensics and breach recovery activities.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain access controls; monitor security posture.
