Job summary
Motion is seeking an IAM Senior Engineer to join our global cyber defense team. This role operates in a hybrid capacity across Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA, focused on IAM, cloud security, recovery, and DevSecOps initiatives.
You will design, implement, and support security-focused solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help maintain secure, scalable systems while adhering to best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of related experience.
- Experience with IAM, cloud security, and DevSecOps.
Responsibilities
- Designs and constructs moderately complex interfaces between ERP and legacy systems.
- Provides production support of moderately complex applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes.
- Uses back-end programming languages and front-end scripting languages to optimize performance, security and scalability.
- Codes programming logic for new or existing solutions following design specs.
- Maintains up-to-date records of issues with existing code and ensures adherence to best practices.
