Job summary

Motion is seeking an IAM Senior Engineer to join our global cyber defense team. This role operates in a hybrid capacity across Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA, focused on IAM, cloud security, recovery, and DevSecOps initiatives.

You will design, implement, and support security-focused solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help maintain secure, scalable systems while adhering to best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
5–8 years of related experience.
Experience with IAM, cloud security, and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

Designs and constructs moderately complex interfaces between ERP and legacy systems.
Provides production support of moderately complex applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes.
Uses back-end programming languages and front-end scripting languages to optimize performance, security and scalability.
Codes programming logic for new or existing solutions following design specs.
Maintains up-to-date records of issues with existing code and ensures adherence to best practices.
