Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join Corporate Technology HR Engineering, delivering security enhancements for the Oracle HCM platform. You’ll work with architects and engineers across production and security teams to implement audit-defensible safeguards and provide security assurance across modules in live environments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining IT services in a large-scale tech environment.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM application security configuration including role building and IAM.
• Experience managing HCM applications or infrastructure on-prem and in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in data analysis using SQL/PL-SQL/Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage phased Oracle HCM implementations supporting integrations with downstream applications and provide ongoing production support.
• Design and execute security solutions including function security, data security, and access control.
• Develop secure production code and review code for adherence to standards and best practices.
• Lead security projects centered on application development and deployment.
• Configure Oracle HCM security including reporting, role and access defect resolution, and SOD analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand security needs and support informed decision-making.
• Minimize security vulnerabilities by following industry insights and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain security documentation and configuration workbooks for audit-defensible processes.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams following SDLC and Agile best practices.
