Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Corporate Technology Human Resources Engineering team. You will secure Oracle HCM platforms, build production-grade code, and support security throughout the SDLC with an emphasis on IAM, data protection, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with architects, engineers, and ops teams to deliver secure solutions, while following Agile practices and ensuring audit-defensible configurations across enterprise HCM services.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• 3+ years troubleshooting and maintaining IT services in a large-scale tech environment.
• Experience with Oracle HCM security configuration including IAM and role access.
• Experience managing HCM apps or infrastructure on-premises and in public cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage phased Oracle HCM implementations and provide production support for live modules.
• Design security solutions: function security, data security, access control, and provisioning.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers' work.
• Lead security projects across application development and deployment.
• Configure Oracle HCM security: reporting, roles, access defects, SOD analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand security needs and advise on changes.
• Minimize vulnerabilities by following industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain security documentation and configuration workbooks for audits.
• Collaborate in large cross-functional teams following SDLC and Agile practices.
