Job summary

Rockland Trust in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead design, deployment, and continuous improvement of security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will drive Zero Trust, IAM, PAM, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and threat-hunting initiatives while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires being on-call 24x7 to respond to incidents, upgrades, and time-sensitive issues, and you will collaborate with Network, Cloud, Risk, and Compliance teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience across security disciplines including network, cloud, endpoint, identity and data protection.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOC technologies and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for security architecture, engineering and lifecycle management.
• Develop secure architectures for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments with Zero Trust.
• Lead threat detection, monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting activities.
• Mentor junior security engineers and analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security controls and risk posture.
