Job summary

Rockland Trust, a Massachusetts-based full-service bank, is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support its enterprise network across offices, branches, remote sites, and data centers. You will work with IT and Information Security to ensure reliability, performance, and security.

The role requires 3–5 years in network engineering, experience with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs; familiarity with Juniper and Fortinet, SD-WAN, and CIS benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 3–5 years of network engineering/administration experience.
• Experience administering enterprise LAN/WAN in a multi-site environment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex network environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and NAC.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, servers, telephony, and LAN/WAN issues.
• Monitor performance using network tools (PRTG, Riverbed, etc.).
• Maintain network diagrams and documentation.
• Assist with security tools and CIS benchmarks.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
