Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain its enterprise network across offices, branches, and data centers. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and scalable infrastructure.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, apply upgrades, and support business continuity while collaborating with IT and Information Security teams to deliver high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS/IS or related field.
• 3–5 years in network engineering or related infra support.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN in multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and support network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, servers, and LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• Monitor performance with network tools and maintain diagrams and procedures.
• Support security tools and patch/vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Participate in on-call rotation and ensure high availability.
