Job summary

Cornerstone Capital Bancorp, Inc., headquartered in Houston, seeks a Senior Security Engineer to advance the organization's security program across architecture, IAM governance, vulnerability management, and third-party security within a highly regulated banking environment.

You will collaborate with technology and business stakeholders, lead security assessments, support AI risk reviews, and drive security automation and resilience initiatives to strengthen our defenses and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity within banking/financial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with FFIEC, NIST CSF, and regulatory exam readiness.

Responsibilities

• Assess security controls, identify risks and gaps, and support remediation and validation activities.
• Lead security automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support AI governance and evolving security requirements across the technology stack.
• Provide second-line security oversight for IAM, PAM, and identity platforms.
