Job summary

Bastion is hiring a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to join the security team. You will write production Go code, build security tooling, and scale security across infrastructure, product security, and GRC areas. Remote within the US is possible, with preference for NYC or relocation.

You will own security domains, write detections, contribute to incident response, and work across SOC 1/2, OCC, and MiCA/DORA compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Senior Security Engineer with production Go coding experience.
• Experience across security engineering for cloud and applications.
• Familiar with SOC 1/2, OCC, and regulatory controls (MiCA/DORA).

Responsibilities

• Own security domains end-to-end (e.g., cloud hardening, CI security).
• Write and tune detections by code and telemetry sources.
• Ship reusable security libraries or middleware in Go.
• Lead security review on design docs for new features and architecture changes.
• Contribute to incident response, on-call procedures, and audit evidence.
