Job summary

Bastion seeks a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to join the security team as its second engineer. You will write production Go code, build security tooling, and scale security across Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.

You'll drive threat detection, incident response, and regulatory workstreams (SOC 1/2, OCC, MiCA/DORA) while collaborating with product and engineering teams. Remote within the US is possible; NYC is preferred or relocation considered.

Qualifications

• Experience writing production Go code in a Kubernetes/AWS environment.
• Proven ability to contribute to security design docs and audits.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, SOC 1, OCC or regulatory security controls.
