Bastion, a regulated stablecoin platform, is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to join the security team as its second engineer. You will write production Go code, build security tooling, and contribute to security automation across Kubernetes, cloud, and application security.

The role offers remote work within the US, with NYC as a preferred location, and opportunities to shape the security program.

Responsibilities

• Write production code and security tooling for Go services
• Review design docs with engineering teams and contribute security insights
• Own security domains end-to-end (e.g., Kubernetes hardening, cloud security)
• Tune detections as code and expand telemetry sources
• Contribute to incident response, on-call procedures, and security rotation
• Develop reusable security middleware and libraries adopted across the codebase
