Job summary

Bastion in the United States is hiring a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to join its security team as the second engineer. You’ll write production Go code, review architecture, and build security tooling that other engineers can drop into services on Kubernetes (EKS) in AWS.

You’ll own cloud hardening, detection engineering, incident response, and support audits from SOC 2 to OCC. The role offers remote work within the US, with NYC relocation considered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering experience in cloud-native environments.
• Ability to write production Go code and deploy secure tooling.
• Experience with incident response, SIEM, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
