Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join the LINCS team within the IDC org. You will manage risk for our global infrastructure spanning data centers, edge, backbone, subsea, and supply chain, designing and maintaining robust security systems to protect customer data and ensure compliance with Meta policies.

As a hands-on contributor, you will own security programs across physical and logical domains, run access management, and develop guidance and playbooks that unify corporate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in network or infrastructure security with ownership of security programs.
• Experience across network, physical and logical security domains.
• Experience establishing and maturing security programs for large-scale infrastructure.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, segmentation and protocol analysis.
• Understanding of secure network architectures for large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage security risk across logical and physical security domains.
• Assess security risk and communicate threats and vulnerabilities.
• Own maintenance and improvement of physical security and compliance programs across LINCS.
• Run access management across Owned and Leased infrastructure with reviews and automation.
• Assess and report on effectiveness of security controls to inform strategy.
• Engineer security solutions across network, physical and cyber domains.
• Develop and operationalize security guidance aligned with policy and standards.
• Integrate security solutions across the data center lifecycle.
