Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Security Engineer for the LINCS team within IDC to manage risk across global infrastructure, spanning data centers, edge, backbone, subsea, and supply chain. You will design, implement, and maintain robust physical and logical security programs aligned with policies and regulatory requirements.

You will own security projects, drive risk assessment, and engineer scalable security solutions for complex networks and data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience owning security programs in large-scale network environments.
• Experience across multiple security domains (network, physical, logical/cyber).
• Experience establishing, scaling, and maturing security projects and programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage security risk across logical and physical security domains.
• Assess security risk and communicate threats and vulnerabilities for strategic decisions.
• Own implementation and improvement of security programs across LINCS infrastructure (Owned, Leased, Cloud, Edge, Subsea).
• Run access management including quarterly reviews and automation; enforce contracted terms.
