Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security controls across the enterprise, reviewing designs, automating security tasks, and overseeing vulnerability management. The role requires hands-on Kubernetes security, scripting, and cloud security expertise in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

Responsibilities include architecture reviews, threat modeling, policy documentation, and supporting audits. Travel within the US may be required on an irregular basis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering focusing on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production environments.
• Scripting/automation proficiency (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote strong security controls and mitigations across teams and during architecture reviews.
• Assess security posture via design reviews and threat modeling; recommend architecture changes.
• Develop automation to integrate systems (Python and related tools).
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across environments (network, containers, cloud).
• Design infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and containers.
