Job summary

Lennar USA is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to serve as the senior technical owner of security capabilities for the Enterprise Security Office. The role oversees cloud, network, data, endpoint, edge/WAF, and SIEM, with hands-on cloud security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

This individual contributor role involves mentoring engineers, coordinating with architecture and infrastructure teams, and guiding risk-aware security implementations across all domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field required.
• 8+ years in security engineering with hands-on cloud security experience.
• 5+ years securing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS in public clouds (AWS, Azure, OCI).
• Strong knowledge across cloud, network, data, endpoint, and app security.

Responsibilities

• Own security domains and engineering direction for cloud, network, data, endpoint, WAF, app security, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
• Lead design reviews, architecture changes, and policy enforcement across domains.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with EA, infrastructure, and development teams.
• Drive CSPM/CNAPP/CASB implementations and cloud posture management maturity.
