Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to own the security capabilities across cloud, network, data, endpoint, and application security for the Enterprise Security Office. This individual contributor role leads engineering standards, reviews architecture, and mentors team members while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities include shaping cloud security strategy for IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, guiding CSPM/CNAPP deployments, and ensuring robust security operations and vulnerability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of security engineering experience in a mid to large-scale enterprise.
• 5+ years securing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS resources in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle OCI).
• Hands-on depth in at least 4 domains: network, data, endpoint, edge/WAF, application security, security operations and SIEM, vulnerability/posture management.
• 3+ years with DevSecOps components, including SDLC, static/dynamic testing, and remediation support.
• Experience securing SaaS delivery platforms (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Box.com) with CASB/CSPM.
• Senior technical owner of an enterprise security platform through full lifecycle (deployment, upgrade, migration).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure/AWS security certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud security strategy across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (identity, segmentation, logging, key management).
• Lead design, implementation, and management of CSPM and CNAPP capabilities.
• Guide network security with next-gen firewalls and cloud-native controls.
• Define data security controls across browsers, email, and data loss prevention.
• Direct endpoint security, EDR, and server protection at scale.
• Oversee edge/WAF policy, tuning, and collaboration with app teams.
• Contribute to Security Operations, SIEM rule development, and incident response.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation with owners.
