Job summary

ACI Worldwide is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer in Norcross, GA to design, implement, and operate enterprise security across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will join a diverse team focused on reducing risk, improving detection and response, and supporting audit requirements.

The role blends hands‑on engineering with leadership, mentoring, and the creation of runbooks, standards, and evidence artifacts to ensure audit readiness and repeatable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, MIS, or related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and/or security operations with hands-on delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, logging/telemetry, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve secure configurations across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Engineer, administer, and support security technologies spanning endpoint security, logging, identity management, and cryptographic controls.
• Lead remediation of security findings and improve repeatable control patterns.
• Develop and maintain security operations capabilities, including SIEM/SOAR workflows and incident response playbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
