NextGen Healthcare is seeking an experienced Staff Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team in Georgia. The role focuses on driving improvements in security posture through automation, AI, and nascent technologies, protecting against application and infrastructure threats.

You will develop tooling, collaborate on cloud-native security policies via Terraform, and participate in threat intelligence and forensics to preempt attacks.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in security/engineering roles.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Certifications in AWS, GCP, CEH, or similar.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain security tooling, guidelines, and standards.
• Collaborate to author cloud-native security policies via Terraform and IaC scanning.
• Participate in threat intelligence and forensic exercises to predict and prevent attacks.
• Automate mitigation of vulnerabilities across cloud workloads.
• Create and maintain runbooks and incident response documentation for the SOC.
• Create and monitor dashboards in the SIEM and alert on thresholds.
