Job summary

BetterHelp is seeking a Senior Security Engineer (Blue Team) to strengthen our security program across third parties, tooling, and incident response. You will work on the front line of security, evaluating vendors, building automation, and mitigating incidents while collaborating with DevOps on AWS.

The role supports remote-friendly work with PST alignment; travel to San Jose, CA office up to three times a year, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments of third parties and map data flows to assess supplier risks.
• Build security tooling and automation for internal apps.
• Execute incident response by identifying, investigating, and remediating incidents.
• Enhance endpoint security focusing on device security, EDR, app control, and threat detection.
• Collaborate with DevOps on AWS to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
