BetterHelp is seeking a Senior Security Engineer on the Blue Team to strengthen our security program, automate protections, and lead incident response. You will assess third-party vendors, build security tooling, and collaborate with DevOps to harden AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security engineering experience.
• Experience assessing third-party vendors and applications.
• Experience coding in Rust, Python or PHP.
• Experience with MacOS and AWS.
• Experience in incident response activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments of third parties and data flows to map supplier security risks.
• Build security tooling and automation for internal apps and scripts.
• Execute incident response efforts by identifying, investigating, and remediating security incidents.
• Enhance endpoint security focusing on EDR, application control, and threat detection.
• Collaborate with DevOps to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in AWS.
