Job summary

IBSS Corp. seeks a Senior Security Engineer to support a Federal customer. You will develop, enhance, and maintain SOC processes and security SOPs, perform vulnerability analysis and testing, and lead secure Azure cloud implementations aligned with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements.

You will collaborate with Cyber Security SMEs, ISSOs, and customer leadership to sustain a strong security posture, integrating Zero Trust across Azure environments and enabling secure, compliant cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• CISSP (or equivalent) certification.
• Azure cloud experience with AKS, Policy, RBAC, and Zero Trust.
• Secret clearance or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SOC SOPs and assessment processes.
• Ensure protection of security processes and data.
• Perform vulnerability analysis and review security documents; provide recommendations.
• Develop security evaluation plans, test procedures, and methodologies.
• Conduct hands-on security testing; identify risk and countermeasures.
• Assess and document mitigations for threats and weaknesses.
• Support design, development, and implementation of security-related systems and tools.
• Lead technical exchange meetings and brief leadership on status.
