Job summary

Bot Auto seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Security Engineering to design, build, and operate security across its autonomous trucking stack. You will work on onboard security, cloud, and AI safety, integrating security into every layer from vehicle to cloud.

Lead security engineering initiatives and mentor teams to ship secure, scalable software. You will assess AI model risks, implement guardrails, manage secrets, and enforce least-privilege access across fleets and infrastructure, helping Bot

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering with a security focus.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, C/C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid cryptography, authentication/authorization, secure design, and common vulnerability knowledge.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure and distributed systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for onboard (in-vehicle) systems.
• Architect and operate security across infrastructure and platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, on‑prem).
• Develop protections for AI systems and guardrails for LLMs, agent workflows, and security monitoring.
• Build IAM, secrets management, and least-privilege access across services and devices.
• Perform threat modeling, security design reviews, and risk assessments.
• Establish SSDLC, vulnerability management, and supply‑chain scanning.
