Job summary

Translucent in New York is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own security and compliance across IT and software development, focusing on a frontier of LLM-agentic product development. You will work within the platform technology org as the primary security engineer, building security infrastructure in GCP and with sub-processors, defining internal standards, and auditing adopted technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-university work experience in a security-focused role.
• Experience with SecOps platforms and security tooling.
• Experience auditing cloud-based LLM tools and AI security.
• Familiarity with SAML, SSO, SCIM, OIDC and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Own security and compliance across IT and software development practices.
• Manage SecOps software in GCP and with Vanta.
• Audit and improve security posture; ensure customer privacy and data protection.
• Lead security governance, documentation, and diligence activities.
• Build data and AI governance framework for internal ops.
