Job summary

The World’s Identity Company is seeking a Security Engineer (Advanced Threat Protection) to join Auth0 Customer Identity. You will research AI threat models, build AI-powered defenses, and partner with global security teams to protect customer tenants at scale.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in security engineering, strong cloud fundamentals, and hands-on Go development. This role is hybrid and requires collaboration across distributed teams to advance our AI security posture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML security, defending or researching attacks.
• 4+ years of security engineering with cloud or product security.
• Hands-on development experience; Go is preferred.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLM apps and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Research and lead how AI can protect customer tenants, proactively and during incidents.
• Build protections against AI-based attacks on identity systems.
• Collaborate with identity security teams to strengthen tenant security with AI defenses.
• Translate threat research into a 12–24 month protection plan and tooling.
• Review and harden Auth0's AI security offerings and identify mitigations.
