Job summary

LiveView Technologies is seeking an experienced security engineer to own detection, response, and exposure systems. You will build detections as code, maintain logging pipelines, and drive incident response within our CI/CD and IaC workflows.

Based in American Fork, Utah, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to reduce exposure, implement automation, and contribute to an AI-enabled security platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience engineering detection, response, and exposure systems.
• Hands-on incident response experience leading technical investigations.
• Experience in detection engineering and security data pipelines.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python or Go with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD.
• Ability to synthesize conflicting vulnerability findings into a risk model.
• Broad cloud, host, and network security knowledge.
• Self-directed with ability to work in ambiguous environments.
• Strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical security incident response, driving containment and remediation.
• Build, maintain, and scale detections as code.
• Own the logging and telemetry pipelines supporting detection and investigation.
• Automate routine security operations workflows.
• Expand security capabilities across EDR, DLP, and AI-assisted SOC tooling.
• Define guardrails for internal AI usage.
• Own exposure management end-to-end across infra, cloud, endpoints.
• Deliver measurable outcomes within 12 months: detections managed as code, automated workflows, compliance evidence.
