Job summary

LVT is seeking a senior security engineer in American Fork, Utah to own detection, response, and exposure across our infrastructure, cloud, and endpoints. You’ll code detections, manage security telemetry, and automate operations to reduce manual work.

You will build and maintain security capabilities, participate in on-call rotations, and help scale our AI-enabled security platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is in-office at our Utah headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.
• Hands-on incident response leadership with containment and remediation experience.
• Experience with detections-as-code and operating SIEM/logging at scale.
• Experience building security data pipelines and alerting in cloud/host/network environments.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical security incident response and containment.
• Develop detections as code and optimize signal quality.
• Own logging/telemetry pipelines for detection and investigation.
• Automate security operations workflows to reduce manual work.
• Expand security capabilities across EDR, DLP, and AI-assisted tooling.
• Define guardrails for internal AI usage and agent connectivity.
• Manage exposure end-to-end across infrastructure, cloud, and endpoints.
• Deliver measurable 12-month outcomes: threat detections, automation, and compliance evidence.
