Job summary

Trail of Bits is seeking security researchers to join a remote UK-based team. You will evaluate proofs and specifications, discover gaps, and push the boundaries with state-of-the-art tooling. The role emphasizes formal methods, AI-assisted triage, and rigorous vulnerability discovery.

You will work in small teams across engagements, sometimes in London, delivering exploitable insights and publish tooling and methodologies to improve the field.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in red teaming production software and proving exploitable vulnerabilities.
• Experience building AI-driven tooling for vulnerability discovery and automated exploit generation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specifications alongside designs and proofs, and identify gaps or assumptions.
• Build AI-driven tooling for discovery and triage, extending coverage.
• Publish tooling and methodology, write for the blog, and share learnings across engagements.
• Prepare security assessments with clear documentation for client review.
