Job summary

Real Work From Anywhere Ltd. is seeking a Security Engineer who excels at source code analysis and offensive security research.

You’ll work embedded with our core engineering team to shape security decisions from design through release, applying frontier AI tools to find vulnerabilities and craft durable fixes. You will partner with engineers across feature development, build security-focused features, and drive secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of finding and exploiting app vulnerabilities via source code analysis.
• Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and reason about runtime behavior and trust boundaries.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, injection, and unsafe handling of untrusted data.
• Strong judgment on exploitability and impact; able to communicate remediation options clearly.
• Solid software engineering skills; able to implement durable security fixes in Clojure or learn quickly.
• Experience using AI-assisted security tools to aid analysis while validating results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers to integrate security into design, implementation, release, and adoption.
• Build security-focused features and address root causes across the codebase.
• Use AI tools to scale code analysis, vulnerability research, and secure practices.
• Conduct offensive research into Metabase and validate vulnerabilities with PoCs.
• Assess findings by exploitability and impact; define remediation criteria.
• Turn findings into broader improvements to prevent classes of vulnerabilities.
