Job summary

VTS is seeking a Senior Engineer to strengthen security across applications, cloud infrastructure, and platform. You will own detection, investigation, and response capabilities and drive AI-augmented defense to close exposures faster.

The role requires reading code in languages like C, C++, Rust, or Go, and leading vulnerability management and threat modeling across the environment. This NY-based position is onsite four days a week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering, AppSec, Vulnerability Research, or Incident Response.
• At least 2 years in a Senior-level capacity driving cross-team initiatives.
• Ability to read system code in C, C++, Rust, Go, or ASM and validate security findings.
• Experience with secrets management and secure API design.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and security questionnaires.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAST/DAST program end-to-end and integrate tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop AI/LLM-driven defense and multi-layered detection within the platform.
• Lead vulnerability management and threat modeling across internal and external environments.
• Conduct deep-dive incident investigations and post-mortems to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor engineers and influence secure coding and threat modeling practices.
• Serve as a high-level escalation point during complex security incidents.
