Job summary

Talanto seeks a Senior Security Engineer to guide cybersecurity posture, hygiene, and AI-enabled security practices. You will contribute to architecture and risk management within the ISRM Architecture team, with emphasis on AI usage and secure, responsible automation.

This role supports a virtual/remote work model across the U.S., reporting to BTS ISRM leadership. You will mentor teammates, drive platform compliance, and collaborate with engineers to implement CIS baselines and monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in information security or related fields with years of experience.
• Strong understanding of continuous monitoring for configuration drift and related tools.
• Experience with Splunk for data analysis and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to improve cybersecurity posture and hygiene program.
• Prioritize remediation using a risk-based approach for configuration drift.
• Develop scripts to extract hygiene data via application APIs and verify settings.
• Create dashboards/alerts to inform stakeholders of drift and remediation actions.
• Document CIS baselines and collaborate to integrate systems into posture program.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring of on-prem and hosted assets for drift.
